Been Wrong Before

Been Wrong Before
I’ve decided to make
dark chocolate -– God.
Something I can handle,
sink my teeth into and digest.

In recovery it is suggested that I turn my will and life over to a higher power. Easier said than done. I have had my struggles with church and god, so for years I struggled with it. I am in a more peaceful place with my higher power these days taking one day at a time.
